Continuously Thinking About God, the Lover of My Soul
Updated: 18 hours ago
Each person loves differently. Lovers draw from each other, long for each other during absences, and find comfort in each other's presence. Bringing gentle pleasures into each other's lives is basic. Listening intently for the hidden matters of the heart and knowing when silence is needed began at the beginning for the Lover of my Soul. For me it took time to develop and understand the proper way to listen, speak, give, share, and receive. At first, I was fascinated that someone so Superior, Spiritually Awesome and Holy, would chose me. As I began to surrender my whole being, my will, my body, my soul, my heart, my spirit, and my life, I was not mentally prepared, or spiritually ready to behold the depths of God's Love, His Grace, His Glory, His Giftings, His Riches, or His Power. My God, has no rivals, no equals, and He is never taken off guard, unprepared, or lacking. My humility, my interest, and my joyful service to Him has developed as time passes in the relationship. Lovers find themselves never tiring of pursing the one they truly love. Thinking of ways to make life better, easier, and more prosperous is what lovers often do. When a lover calls in times of needs, the immediate response of their love is a positive, calming, and attentive reply. Lovers over time learn to lean upon, trust, and not see the other as a burden.
Who can truly love me better and more intensely than the one who created me, Elohim. Who truly was my first love, God Almighty, El Shaddai? Who was the one who was willing to sacrifice the most for me to have a better life on Earth and Eternally, El Olam? The lover of my soul goes by many names. My mind is at peace when it is stayed upon Him, Jehovah God. Who feels the pain of loving, while watching one stray from their covenant vows? Who is patiently waiting for their return of their wayward love or for their choice to choose Him over anew each day? Who's anointing breaks yokes of bondage? Who is the most generous, compassionate and merciful One to me? Who is grieved when life draws me away from Him, into the path of sin and more future pain? Who never wants me to feel the loss of Truth? Although Adonai's ways and thoughts are higher than mine, I am continuously open to how He chooses to share His Insight, His Revelations, His Words, His Knowledge, His Understanding, His Wisdom, and His View of Me. When I stumble, He is there to pick me up. When my heart becomes hardened, He plows the fallow areas. When I am bogged down and distressed, He restores me. When I am stuck in life's marrow, He plants my feet on solid ground and leads me in the path of righteousness. When I need shelter, He provides a fortress. His Army of Angels never leave my side. His Protection is evident in the small hidden wonders of everyday life. His gifts are without repentance. My thankfulness and Gratitude for His love is beyond words. My innate human nature leads me to sin against Him, it is never because he is insufficient is any thing. It is my stupidity, my choice to listen to the wrong voices, me meditating to long on things that don't align with His Words, and me spending time in activities that do not express love for Him. Yet, my redeemer delivers, saves, and forgives. My awesome God, never bringing it up again; casting it into the sea of forgetfulness. When I have been deceived, viewing things though the world's eyes; His signs, wonders, and magnificence breaks through the darkness; shedding light on what's real. Cares of this world, lust of the flesh and eyes, the pride of life, and the deceitful of riches have left me barren, fruitless, and inconsiderate of His will. I find myself often confessing my trespasses against Him. I throughout my life have spent time repenting because God's goodness never stopped, His grace was never-ending. He committed no evil actions against me. Regardless of my actions, His mercies were new every morning, making seeking His forgiveness easier. It is really sad, that despite the multiple blessing of having God as the lover of my soul, l still miss the mark when it comes to putting no other things before Him. I am the one who goes astray chasing after things of no value in our godly relationship. He has never forsaken me or given me reason to not trust that He is working all things out for my good. He is faithful always, and I am bewildered by His pursuit of me in my broken and contrite states. His thoughts are focused on me continuously, regardless of my station in life. He is continuously perfecting those things that concern me and the ones I love.

I Corinthians 13:4-8a
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
