The Presence of God

In Genesis 3:8, it talks about how Adam and Eve hid from the presence of God. Genesis 4:16 declares Cain went out from the presence of God. Can humanity really hide from the presence of God? Psalm 139:1-10 the psalmist states there is no place to go that God is not. Why does Moses question God after He assured Moses His presence with go with him in Exodus 33:14? Psalm 68:8 mentions the earth shaking, the heavens dropping and the Sinai moving at the presence of the Lord. Psalm 16:11 mentions joy in the presence of the Lord God. How do you picture joy in the presence of the Lord God? Is it just an emotion? What does joy in the presence of the Lord God spiritually feel like?
